Here are the cherubs, my niece and nephew. They were my guinea pigs when I first got into photography... now they're growing up and running for class president and riding school buses. :(
Tonight me and my sister and the kids spent a couple hours taking photos and having fun! Here's one. I'll post more later.
I wanted serious faces in this photo but when you're photographing family, things are different... they could not keep still or listen to me OR quit arguing as if they were brother and sister or something. But I love their half smiles and twin dimples in this photo.
Brandy liked the color better.

Powell Wedding
Meet the Powells!
I know Austin through my cousin Brandon who went to school with him... Austin is the epitome of rugged man from Vancleave. He's to the point. He's funny. He likes to have a good time. Nicole is a cute, lively former cheerleader who fits him perfectly...!
They had their wedding at The Grand Magnolia in Pascagoula... pretty place. Here are SOME of the photos from the day:
grandma!
Just so everyone knows... I didn't even need to plan the groomsmen photos. Pretty much every single one of these was their idea.
Goofballs.
The Father/Daughter dance makes me cry every time. EVERY TIME. I hear the intro come in on Butterfly Kisses and I'm done.
These girls were cute...
The lighting at the reception was such a challenge because they had the stage lights that changed from dim to bright spot lights... so I never knew when to use my flash to fill in for the dim times or when to not use it when the spotlights came on and blew everything out. BUT, it ended up working out. I loved the lights.
