Tuesday I had a shoot with Ms. Regi Parrott! First shoot with the new camera.... sooo.... super exciting. Regi likes Paramore, owl rings, and she thinks Mississippi is pretty (I agree with her).

There's nothing better than when you imagine a photograph in your mind and you create it exactly as you imagined it. This was that photo for me:



I wanted the background with the young pine trees dark and Regi sitting with one strobe lighting her up. FUN. More to come from this shoot soon.

Also, I'm glad I wore shoes because I ran around and had fun in some mud.



Tomorrow I am leaving for Orlando until Tuesday. I am most absolutely positively excited. I have my new (old) coca-cola bag filled with books so I should be either hanging out with Jim Hawkins, Jean Valjean, Jesus, or John Piper. Who knows what mood I'll be in so that's why you should ALWAYS bring a variety of books. Always.

So I'm super thrilled to be posting these finally. This wedding was a lovely combination of afternoon light and true llloooovvvveeee! How fun. Seriously, I had a great time and I'm so appreciative of Justin and Catie who in turn were so appreciative. They are a great couple who I know love each other. They made me cry during the ceremony while taking the photos so, I mean, you can imagine. ;)
